This book covers recent developments and emerging topics in governance. Governance is approached from a variety of angles: corporate governance, economic governance, public, private or mixed governance, governance of companies in the social and solidarity economy, and always through the prism of the performance it induces. In each context, the work highlights the impact of governance mechanisms on the performance of organizations, institutions or communities.
Media man and academic, Félix Zogning is Professor at the Université de Sherbrooke. His research interests include the performance of listed companies, mergers and acquisitions, the governance mechanisms of private and public organizations and their impact on performance, and the internationalization of SMEs. For several years now, he has been involved in setting up entrepreneurship programs in sub-Saharan Africa and upgrading SMEs to improve their competitiveness.
Muriel Dufour is Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting Sciences at the Université du Québec en Outaouais, Canada.
