In the 21st century, education has been subject to constant change, shaped by technology, complex socio-economic issues and a quest for innovation. At the heart of this transformation is the essential role of school leaders. They lead these establishments through the challenges of change, diversity and innovation, requiring a clear vision and an informed strategy. Principals anticipate trends, assess social needs and guide their schools towards academic excellence and comprehensive student development. They play a crucial role in creating educational environments conducive to success, encouraging pedagogical creativity and supporting continuous innovation. The 21st century has brought increasing complexity, from diverse pedagogical approaches to inclusion. Managers face challenges such as cultural diversity, technological integration and the creation of inclusive environments. Shared leadership, ongoing teacher training and the integration of technology are essential to fostering student success. In addition, schools are integrated into the community, requiring collaboration with parents and businesses to meet local needs. In the face of automation and artificial intelligence, principals must redefine essential skills, such as critical thinking and collaboration, to prepare students for a changing world. Ultimately, principals play a key role in educational transformation by fostering inclusion, managing complexity and preparing students for the future, helping to shape a better educational environment!
