A veritable center of power, the company, and particularly the large corporation, today brings together all the elitist classes: the economic and financial ruling elite, the political elite and even the intellectual elite. This centralization of power is partly due to the absolute domination of economics and finance over politics. Indeed, with the power of money, big business is in total control of political power. This state of affairs affects the whole of society, with the main consequence being a bias in the distribution of wealth - a bias which, of course, favours the economic and financial elite first and foremost. This book, written by a team of academics, paints a vivid picture of the contours of this elitism taken to extremes, which is greatly exploited by companies in the form of so-called "social relations networks" or "political connections". Particular attention is also paid to the moral and ethical consequences of such a phenomenon, which can range from "revolving doors" to "collusion" or "corruption". On an organizational and managerial level, it can simply be seen as a strategic and normal management mechanism, with the corollary of institutionalizing and systematizing the phenomenon.
