The organization of education in Quebec shows the evolution of its educational system from the 1600s to the present day.
This book presents the historical and socio-political principles that gave rise to the Quebec school system. We'll look at the history and analyze the national educational project and language policies in Quebec.
Finally, the Vademecum presents the curricula for pre-school, primary and secondary education, as well as andragogy (adult education) and gerontagogy (education for the elderly), two areas that are set to expand considerably in the years ahead.
Finally, the compendium explains the various laws that influence the legal environment of the Quebec school system: the Civil Code, the Criminal Code, the Youth Protection Act, the Act respecting health services and social services, the Act respecting occupational health and safety and the Act respecting industrial accidents and occupational diseases.
The contents of this handbook provide a comprehensive inventory of Quebec's education system in the 21st century.
