Social acceptability is currently the number 1 risk in the mining and metals sector. As a result, it has become essential to analyze the social acceptability of a mining development project.
This highly relevant, clear and easily accessible tool promises to be useful to its intended audience. It is aimed at university students, community members, mine development promoters, community relations professionals and municipal decision-makers who want a concrete tool for analyzing the social acceptability of a mine development project.
This questionnaire for analyzing the 8 factors of social acceptability facilitates the identification of issues and concerns related to a mining project, and encourages dialogue and collaboration between stakeholders.
