Charlaine St-Jean is a professor of early childhood education at the Université du Québec à Rimouski. After completing her doctoral studies on the development of spatial reasoning in 4-year-olds, she has focused her research on early exposure to mathematics, self-efficacy, and supporting teachers in this area.
Jean-Claude Boyer is a retired professor of mathematics education at the Université du Québec en Outaouais. Throughout his career, he has focused on the specific exploratory approach in mathematics education. In addition, he has collaborated extensively with the Ontario Ministry of Education.
Marilyn Dupuis Brouillette is a professor of mathematics special education at the Université du Québec à Rimouski. During her doctoral studies, a collaborative research project identified instructional practices in mathematics for students with language disabilities. She is also interested in the early mathematical learning of all students, whether they have learning difficulties or not.
