This guide to organizational identity has been developed to serve as a basis for discussion in professional training sessions, and has no other claim than to be a pedagogical training tool in the service of reflection that is mindful of the practical realities experienced in today's organizations.
The guide takes the form of a set of summary sheets designed to facilitate a general and summary diagnosis of organizational identity. In concrete terms, based on brief theoretical presentations, summary grids and a short questionnaire, managers who complete the exercises contained in this guide will be able to realize that their organization puts into action one or other of the following identities: an identity of innovation, family, prestige, civic, commercial or professional. At the end of the diagnosis, managers will be able to foresee the challenges involved in transforming organizational identities.
