Production and inventory planning and control: techniques and practices

Recent years have seen the implementation of ERP software packages in many companies. This has led to an increased interest in mastering the techniques and approaches used in production planning, in particular: collaborative planning of sales and operations, development of master production schedules and material requirement plans, and monitoring the execution of established plans.

This book is part of this approach. It focuses on the techniques and approaches involved in short- and medium-term planning decisions, and short-term production and inventory control.
