The author offers a book that responds to current needs in critical and primary care. Designed primarily for nursing students, this book is also intended for other critical care professionals (nurses, respiratory therapists, medical students) who wish to improve their knowledge of ECG reading. The book covers all the skills required to use the electrocardiogram in clinical practice: electrocardiogram recording, 12-lead ECG and continuous monitoring, interpretation of cardiac arrhythmias, ECG analysis in acute and chronic care, and temporary and permanent cardiostimulation. Learning is presented in relation to current practice. Exercises help learners to better integrate concepts, and authentic situations make learning more concrete.
With the collaboration of Karine Ouellet
