Nancy Brassard
Nancy Brassard has been Associate Professor of Human Resources Management and Occupational Psychology at the École Nationale d'Administration Publique (ENAP) since summer 2009. Prior to this, she was General Manager of the Institut québécois de planification financière and, subsequently, Professor of Management at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi. She has also taught internationally at the École supérieure et internationale de gestion (ESIG, Morocco), ANAP (National Academy of Public Administration, Vietnam), Escuela nacional d'administracion (EAN, Colombia) and several other management schools abroad. She holds a Doctorate in Administration (D.BA) with a thesis entitled Reaction of the SME manager: actions taken after use of a multi-source evaluation system, doctoral studies in the measurement of psychological variables, and a Master's degree in measurement and evaluation giving her the title of docimologist (MA.ed.MEV). More recently, she has obtained various certifications in neuroscience, as well as a post-graduate diploma in specialized mental health studies. Her main areas of interest are the management and assessment of individuals' competencies in the workplace, the different variables that influence the competence and know-how of individuals, those that influence organizations' ability to attract, retain and develop the loyalty of competent resources, and the various issues related to mental health.
