Micheline Renault, D.Sc. MBA, CPA auditor, CA, is a full professor in the Department of Accounting Sciences at the School of Management Sciences of the Université du Québec à Montréal (ESG UQAM) and an associate professor at TÉLUQ. She teaches in the Executive MBA program and is responsible for the finance specialization in the DESS en pratique comptable (CPA) program. She also works internationally. Interested in new training technologies, she has produced an online course combining accounting and financial decision-making. She is a member of the Board of Directors of ESG UQAM's Centre d'entrepreneuriat and works with the school's École supérieure de mode. Prior to joining UQAM, she worked as an auditor, corporate finance specialist and franchisee. She has been a trainer for the Ordre des CPA du Québec, the Centre de perfectionnement de l'ESG UQAM and several entrepreneurial and professional groups. Passionate about music, she was a board member of the Orchestre symphonique des jeunes de Montréal (OSJM) and the Opéra Piccola opera company. In 2007, she was a finalist for the "Prix Femmes de mérite - Éducation" from the Women's Y Foundation of Montreal and co-recipient of the "Implication dans l'Association" award from the Association des femmes en finance du Québec (AFFQ).
