Marie-Cécile Guillot has been a professor of French as a second language at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) since 2001. She has held a number of management positions: Director of French as a Second Language Programs, Director of the Language School, General Secretary of the Teachers' Union and Vice-Dean of Studies in the Faculty of Communication. Her experience and expertise cover a wide range of fields: intercultural twinning, international exchanges, teaching writing to adults and women's leadership in academia.
