Émilie Deschênes
Dr. Émilie Deschênes has over fifteen years' experience in the field of education, more specifically in teaching and pedagogy, and especially in the management of education in an aboriginal context. Her professional experience in Aboriginal communities and with Aboriginal people is vast and diverse. Her post-doctoral research in intercultural management (HEC) on the training and employment integration of aboriginal workers led to the idea of writing this book. A professor at UQAT, she also specializes in the fundamental issues of decolonizing institutions and integrating aboriginal perspectives into education and training.
