André Caron
André Caron taught film at Cégep Garneau for 25 years. Trained in film production at Concordia University's School of Fine Arts, he completed a master's degree in film studies at the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema in 2005. André Caron became a contributor to the film magazine Séquences in 1986, and between 1988 and 2020 also wrote for the Médiafilm press agency, which awards the famous 1-7 ratings for all films shown on Quebec screens. In 2018, he published the essay <em><strong>Frankenstein escaped: the cinematic torments of a modern myth</strong></em>. He is currently in charge of cinema content projects at SODEC.
