Stéphanie Hovington is a professor of psychoeducation at Université Laval. A psychoeducator by profession, she holds a master's degree and a doctorate in education. In addition to her work with children and adolescents, she has taught a number of practical training courses at both college and university levels. As part of her teaching career, she has supervised numerous trainees, and has made practical training her main research topic. She is interested in pedagogical innovation in higher education and in the training experiences of students and teachers. Her work on pedagogical innovation in psychoeducational internships earned her the Prix d'excellence en enseignement from the Université de Montréal's Faculty of Arts and Sciences.
