Sylvain Brousseau holds a doctorate in nursing with a specialization in administration from the Université de Montréal, and is associate professor of nursing and director of the health sciences module at the Université du Québec en Outaouais in Saint-Jérôme. His research focuses on the humanist perspective on quality of work life for nurses and nurse managers. He is also interested in the involvement of nurses in the political sphere. Professor Brousseau has over 26 years' experience in the healthcare network in acute care, community health and management.
