Nadia Roy
Growing up just outside the Gaspé Peninsula, Nadia Roy studied childhood education at Cégep de l'Outaouais and Collège Boréal. Mother of 4, she set up a daycare center where, for 10 years, she welcomed children aged 6 months to 5 years. With many strings to her bow, she also led Brain Gym, Zumba and Brin d'ami workshops in various pre-schools in the region. She then worked in kindergarten in a French-language school in Ontario for 8 years. During the pandemic, she set up a virtual dance club.nAuthor and illustrator of two other educational books, Nadia is particularly committed to the development of social skills in young children. She believes that toddler learning is an art that involves images, music and experimentation. To this day, she continues to work on various projects involving the writing and illustration of educational material for various early childhood educators. An equally strong believer in the benefits of physical activity, Nadia founded the Kangoo Club Kingston. In her spare time, she creates new choreographies and teaches Kangoo Jumps.
