Jacqueline Thériault holds a doctorate in educational science and is Professor Emeritus at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi. She has devoted her career to training teachers working with young children. She is the author of several volumes, articles and conferences on the emergence of writing and the role of play in early childhood development and learning.
