This book focuses on a constructivist analysis of the adoption of the Canadian Federal Water Policy which was the subject of extensive public consultations. Many stakeholders from all sectors of Canadian and international society took part in these consultations. Their submissions constitute an important laboratory for understanding the social construction of public policy and water regulation at the federal level. This book will focus in particular on questions relating to the legal status of water in Canada, in a context marked by massive water export projects.
